The man named Didik Poerwanto was found dead for the first time by his officemate Haerul Ashari (witness) and several of his boarding house neighbors.

The above information was conveyed by the Ampenan Police Chief Kompol Ricky Yuhanda SE, SIK when the media confirmed the incident, at the Ampenan Police Headquarters, Sunday (26/06).

The witness tried to contact him several times but there was still no response at that time.

According to the police chief, the witness was curious because his phone was not answered, so he finally decided to see the victim at his rented house in the Ampenan area.

“When the witness arrived at the rented room, the victim immediately knocked on the door several times but there was no sound from the victim’s room, so the witness and the boarding house neighbors forcibly opened the door to the room which was not locked. At that time, he saw the victim lying face down, motionless, then the witness tried to hold and turn the victim, but the victim’s body was stiff and cold, presumably lifeless,” he explained.
