The Media Center of the Information Communications and Statistics Office of West Nusa Tenggara held a press conference with INFRONT, the MXGP organizer at the Rocket Motor Circuit, Samota, Sumbawa, Saturday (25/06).
Attended by dozens of NTB journalists from online, print and electronic media, this activity facilitated coverage of the MXGP 2022 international event in Samota.
Acting Head of the NTB Communications and Information Service, Baiq Nelly Yuniarti said, as part of disseminating information, the public is expected to be aware of world events that are taking place in NTB. In addition, he wants to ensure that access to information from the organizers can be fully facilitated by related parties.
Meanwhile, Samantha Gelli, the person in charge of INFRONT’s media, said that she was ready to provide the facilities needed as a publication partner.
“There is no difference between local and international media. It’s all a matter of limited space”, explained Samantha.
He said that there were 100 international media covering under the banner of the organizers. For local media who want to do coverage, as said by Samantha, it must be limited.
Likewise with access to information related to the race, local media can access it at the INFRONT media center in addition to being able to participate in scheduled press release activities.
He hopes that the local media can work together so that the MXGP 2022 event goes well. (Sus)

MXGP of Indonesia 2022 di Rocket Motor Circuit, Samota, Sumbawa 24 – 26 Juni telah dimulai.
Media Center Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Statistik Nusa Tenggara Barat menggelar konferensi pers bersama INFRONT, pihak penyelenggara MXGP di Rocket Motor Circuit, Samota, Sumbawa, Sabtu (25/06).
Dihadiri puluhan jurnalis NTB dari media online, cetak dan elektronik kegiatan ini memfasilitasi peliputan event internasional MXGP 2022 di Samota.
Plt Kepala Dinas Kominfotik NTB, Baiq Nelly Yuniarti mengatakan, sebagai bagian dari penyebarluasan informasi, masyarakat diharapkan dapat mengetahui event dunia yang sedang berlangsung di NTB. Selain itu, ia ingin memastikan akses informasi dari penyelenggara dapat sepenuhnya difasilitasi oleh pihak terkait.
Sementara itu, Samantha Gelli, penanggungjawab media INFRONT mengatakan siap menyediakan fasilitas yang dibutuhkan sebagai mitra publikasi.
“Tidak ada perbedaan antara media lokal dan internasional. Semua soal keterbatasan tempat”, jelas Samantha.
Dikatakannya, media internasional yang meliput dibawah bendera penyelenggara sebanyak 100 media. Bagi media lokal yang ingin melakukan peliputan, pihaknya seperti dikatakan Samantha harus dibatasi.
Begitupula dengan akses informasi terkait balapan, media lokal dapat mengaksesnya di media center INFRONT selain dapat mengikuti kegiatan press release yang telah terjadwal.
Ia berharap, pihak media lokal dapat bekerjasama agar gelaran MXGP 2022 berjalan dengan baik. (Sus)
