Gajser Team Wins MXGP Indonesia Samota Sumbawa

TracedWestNus, SUMBAWA | The Samota Sumbawa MXGP event was finally won by Honda racer, Tim Gajser. Gajser has looked charming since the second day with a speed of 54.49 and won the first podium after dominating the second rice which took place at the Rocket Motor Circuit, Sunday (26/6/2022) afternoon.

In the first round, the three-time MXGP world champion had slipped to fourth place. The front position was taken over by Jorge Prado. The racer from the Red Bull Gas Gas team led up to two laps.

Entering the third round, Gajser managed to take over the front position and continued to enlarge the gap. He was not overtaken again until the end of the race.

The Croatian Crooser finished the race on the clay circuit with a time of 35.12 minutes. And he felt very happy and happy. “Very happy. Really enjoyed this weekend. Thanks to all the team,” Gajser said at a press conference.

Jorge Prado won the second podium. The Spaniard managed to record a time of 35.16 minutes. 3.8 seconds difference from Team Gajser. The third podium was won by Romain Febvre from the Kawasaki Racing Team. The racer from Francis finished the race in 35.18 minutes.

The fourth and fifth finishes were achieved by Ruben Fernandes from the Honda 114 Motorsport team, and Mitchell Evans from Team HRC. Meanwhile, Indonesian racer Farhan Hendra Fahrodjie finished in 19th position, one level above his distended position.

For a while, Tim Gajser leads the standings with a total of 535 points. Followed by Jorge Prado with 410 points, Jeremy Seewer with 405 points, Maximr Renaux with 365 points, Glenn Coldenhoff with 363 points and Ruben Fernandes with 342 points. (RED)
